This will be the 27th annual Silvers Visiting Scholar Program in the Jewish
Studies Program at the University of Pennsylvania. The Silvers Visiting Scholar Program is
endowed by David, C’71, and Patricia, CW’72, Silvers. The lecture will be co-sponsored by
the Department of Near Eastern Language and Civilizations and the Program in Global
Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
